«Matryoshka theatre», «Gzhel Emboidery», «Life Lines»: Perm to obtain new street-art items

Seven murals will appear on the apartment blocks and   voltage transforming substation. 

Expert commission of “Graffiti-Perm” festival approved  new draft designs for street-art items. 

The second “Graffiti-Perm” festival  organised as part of the 300-year anniversary of Perm celebrations focuses on the topic of  “Culture layers”, which can be interpreted  not only from historical or archeological point of view, but also as part of social life, with reflections of culture, art and self-expression. 

The experts commission approved the draft designs of the murals  to appear on the facades of apartment blocks  and transformation substations.  7 out of  19 nominations were shortlisted, featuring such projects as, for example, “Create” (to be placed on the apartment block in Karpinskogo Street,25),  “Girl with flowers” (Yursha Street, 5), “Matryoshka  Theatre” (in Dostoyaevskogo Street). “The Life Lines” graffiti will appear on the apartment block at Lodygina Street, 50/1-50/2).
